Application Deadline and Status
During the academic year, applications are accepted and reviewed weekly. Applications are due every SUNDAY by 11:59pm; applicants are typically notified of their application status by the end of the following week.
Applications that need to be expedited can be submitted, however, the application committee cannot guarantee that the request will be accommodated. Please email nca@northwestern.edu if you have an urgent request.
Funding Dates for the 2024-2025 Academic Year
- Open: Tuesday, September 16, 2024
- Close: Sunday, April 27, 2025
*Applications will not be reviewed during Thanksgiving, Finals Week/Winter Break, or Spring Break. Expect a delay in processing for applications submitted during this time.
**The Career Development Fund can close at any time during the academic year based on available funding**
