As a Graduate Assistant of Fraternity & Sorority Life, Cynthia is eager to apply her background
in student leadership, community development, and organizational management to support and
enrich the NU Greek life experience. She is passionate about creating inclusive and supportive
environments for all students and is committed to fostering growth and engagement within the
university community.
Cynthia is currently pursuing her Master of Music in Voice and Opera Performance at
Â鶹´«Ã½’s Bienen School of Music. She completed her Bachelor of Music in
Vocal Performance at Johns Hopkins University’s Peabody Institute in May 2024, graduating
with the honor of Presser Scholar from the Presser Foundation.
Throughout her undergraduate career, Cynthia actively engaged in student leadership and
community building. As the Student Body President at Peabody Conservatory, she served as a
liaison between students, faculty, and administration, fostering an inclusive environment and
leading various initiatives to enhance student life. Cynthia is also a member of the Pi Beta Phi
Fraternity and the Pi Kappa Lambda Honor Society. Additionally, she held leadership positions
and was heavily involved with cultural clubs, sports media, journalism, and community service.
As the daughter of two Â鶹´«Ã½ alums, Cynthia is thrilled to be in Evanston and
contributing to the student life experience as she furthers her studies. Outside of work and
school, Cynthia can be found reading a good book, exploring new cafes, watching sports or a
good movie.
