Resources for Students

- Leadership Framework with Supporting Competencies. A simple, printable, one-page version of the Framework with supporting competencies. Hang it on your wall to remind yourself to reflect on your experiences and think about how you're developing.
- Leadership Framework Handout with Questions for Reflection. Reflecting on your experiences is how you learn from them. These questions will get you started.
- Leadership Framework Handout. A printable image of the Leadership Framework.
- Leadership Framework Reflection and Goal Setting Activity. A one-page reflection and goal setting activity.
- Leadership Development Plan for Students (PDF). Use this worksheet to reflect on where you are in your development and where you'd like to grow.
- Anti-Racist Organizational Assessment. This is a set of questions to help examine where you are and are not centering racial justice in your student organization. You’ll also identify barriers to becoming an anti-racist organization.
- Student Organization-Specific Racial Equity Impact Assessment (REIA). A three-step process for student organization planning is outlined. This process adapts the Racial Equity Impact Assessment processes developed by Race Forward, The Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE), and Chicago United for Equity (CUE).
- Chicago United for Equity Racial Equity Impact Assessment (REIA). A one-page REIA that "is a set of questions to investigate the benefits and burdens of a policy or practice".

- Supervision Reflection on NU Leadership Framework, developed by Qiu Fogarty of Social Justice Education. This tool and the Supervisee Reflection below are companion tools for use with student employees/student leaders to assess skills and set goals for learning and development.
