Nexus Gaming Lounge
Usage
- The Nexus Gaming Lounge is FREE for all Â鶹´«Ã½ students.
- There is a limit of 10 hours a week to use the computers. After 10 hours, you may not log in until the week is reset.
- These computers are dedicated computers for computer gaming and are not meant for someone to watch a movie, or work on their paper.

May I bring my own headphones and keyboards to play?
- Yes. USB plugs are readily available at the front of the computer.
- Please do not bring anything that requires Bluetooth.
May I reserve the Nexus Gaming Lounge for my group to host gaming tournaments?
- We are currently in the process of developing policies and procedures. We will evaluate the possibilities of group reservations later his quarter.
There is a game I would like to play; may I download it?
- No, please do not download it. Please fill out this and an advisory committee will review your request. The advisory committee will meet twice a quarter, so please be patient.
The Nexus Gaming Lounge Advisory Committee
PURPOSE
The Nexus Gaming Lounge Advisory Committee is established to provide guidance, support, and strategic direction for the ongoing development and enhancement of the Nexus Gaming Lounge at Â鶹´«Ã½'s Norris University Center.
This committee aims to foster a vibrant gaming community, promote inclusivity, and ensure that the Nexus Gaming Lounge remains a dynamic space that meets the diverse needs and interests of students, faculty, staff, and the broader Â鶹´«Ã½ community. Through collaborative efforts and informed decision-making, the Advisory Committee strives to optimize the gaming experience, facilitate educational opportunities, and promote a culture of responsible gaming within a welcoming and supportive environment.
COMMITTEE STRUCTURE
- The committee will be chaired by the Assistant Director of Co-Curricular Learning and Recreation.
- The advisory committee will consist of 4-6 members who are expected to meet1-2 times a quarter.
- Faculty, staff, students, and alumni are all welcomed to serve on the committee. Applicants must be affiliated with Â鶹´«Ã½.
- The committee will have a dedicated spot for the following groups:
- E-Sports Club
- Associated Student Government (ASG)
- Student Affairs Information Technology (SAIT)
