Employer reimbursement

Â鶹´«Ã½'s employer reimbursement plan (ERP) is designed for students in the following schools or programs whose employers offer reimbursement for tuition charges:

  • Â鶹´«Ã½ School of Professional Studies,
  • Kellogg School of Management: part-time MBA program, and
  • Medill School of Journalism: Integrated Marketing Communications Master's professional degree program. 

ERP allows participants to defer their tuition payments to Â鶹´«Ã½ until after the term has been completed.

Application process

  1. Complete an application and hit Submit.

    Application Forms:
    : Use during 2025 Summer term
    : Use during 2025 Fall, 2026 Winter, and 2026 Spring terms
  2. Review and DocuSign:

    A representative will review your submitted application.
    If eligible, you'll receive a DocuSign document requiring your signature.
  3. Employer Approval:

    The signed form will be emailed to your employer for approval and signature.
  4. Payment Notification:

    After receiving the form with both signatures, Student Finance Chicago will notify you to make your application fee payment.
  5. Payment Submission:

    Submit the payment receipt to studentaccounts-chicago@northwestern.edu
